Torfinn Slåen
Torfinn Slåen is an experienced executive coach who has worked alongside thousands of leaders for more than 40 years. Through this work he has observed how modern work can become exhausting, and how small insights can restore clarity, energy and joy to leader’s work life.
His book Oman työsi kulkija is not a traditional leadership or time management guide, but rather a companion that helps readers make their work more meaningful, lighter and more sustainable. It encourages readers to reflect on what they truly want to do, what they can contribute and who they can become.
The central idea of the book is that people do not need to become someone else, but instead they should rediscover their own strengths and build a personal strategy that reflects what truly matters to them — rather than what is externally expected.
The book also provides a range of practical tools that can be applied immediately to one’s own leadership journey or when supporting the leadership of others.
